Jorvik Style Viking Boots are based on historical findings in the northern English city of York, the former Jorvik dated between the 9th and 10th century, a period in which England was separated into some smaller kingdoms. The Anglo-Saxon societies had to defend numerous Viking attacks. Many Danes settled in England and York was conquered and ruled for about one hundred years by the Northman. As these shoes match time and place perfectly, of course you can call them Viking shoes.
